Tilda Santas Little Helper

Here is another post from me today.
At the club of Tiets we can win a set of the new Flexmarkers from Lectraset.
The only thing you must do is to make a corner bookmark in Christmas look.
So I spend my day on working on that thing.
I took my Magnolia stamp Tilda Santas Little Helper and start
coloring her with my copics...this time I could color some more parts of
her because I could use the color red for some parts of her dress.
Well everything people told me about the color red in copics is true
it is an hard color to get beautifull, but I think I did a good job.
Okay it is not perfect, but I'm still in the learning stage.

Here is also an close up of Tilda
The colors of my copics I used.
E000-E00-E11-E25-E29-E53
R20-R22-R24-R29

A little project

The last days I was working on a little project.
It is an chest of drawers.
I used my copics and my prismacolor pencils
I used the color purple because I love that color.
I don't know which design paper I used because I don't have
that so organised and I bought it about four years ago.
It is only strange that the hair on the picture is not so nice as it is in
the real world. But I think it is because the light is shining on it.

Here I pulled the drawers a little bit open so you can see how it works.
The things to open the drawers I made of an eyelet with an little brad that
I pulled through the eyelet. The eyelet is not going through the paper but
the hole I made for it is to small so it will make a little distance for the
brad to pull the drawer.

On this picture you can see Tilda in close up.
The hair and skin I colored with my copics, the other parts I
colored with my prismacolor pencils.

This is an selfmade sentiment and you can download it on my
freebie page or just down on this topic.
It is free for download.
I hope you'll like it and when you download it, I would really
like it if you leave a comment.

This is a flower I made myself by using
two different punch of flowers.
I am still looking for some nice (other) flower punch to
make different flowers and some leaves with them.

Yesterday we went to my parents, they live in Almere and
that takes one and a half hour to go there, so we always go
early and spend the whole day overthere.
Mostly we go on Sunday and we can't go to shops because they
are not open on Sunday, but now we went on Saterday and the shops
were open and we went to an shop with lots of scrap and cardmaking stuff.
I bought this few things.
Some nice clearstamps of Artemio with nice/funny
cats.
An Martha Stewart punch Lace Heart.
And the copics blender.
So my day was fun and I hope you all like my post of today
And as I promised I have the sentiment for you to download
here it is.

And if you like blog candy's please take a look at the nice candy's
I like on the left sidebar of my blog on top.
Also if you like my blog I love it when you will follow my blog.

Spring Fever

Because the weather in Holland is not so nice at this moment
I wanted to make an happy card and I had the perfect Magnolia stamp
for that job.
It's the Tilda with Lamb stamp and inside the card I used the
Tilda playing Hopscotch stamp.
Those 2 stamps I bought not so long ago and I had not used
them befort so the perfect match for the spring card.

The text in the circle I made myself and is free
for download at my free digistamps.
If you take it please let me know and comment me on my
blog or at the download site.
The inside of the card is like this.

Click on the picture for a bigger version.

And here you have a close up of Tilda on the
inside of the card.

Tilda is at both sides of the card colored with Copics at the skin
and hair.
The rest of the coloring I used my Prismacolor Pencils.
The Shapeabilities are from Spellbinders - Floral Doily Motifs

The quote in the inside I have found on the internet but I don't know the
author of it, so if you are let me know.

I made a digistamp of that quote and is also free
for download at my free digistamps.

I last told you that my blog will be after the english version
also in Dutch version, but because It will costs so much more
time to place it in 2 languages I decided to place an translation button
at the right of this blog. So it can be read by much more
people.

I'm also thinking to work out this card and placing it on
my blog, but I don't know if you like that.
So let me know if you like it when I place it on my blog.

(with a good result ofcourse )
And I surfed on the internet looking for nice cards and made an collection from
several sites.
And so making my own idea card.
This is the card I made today.

my Zip'eMate
And the font I used is from Quick Kutz - Phoebe (skinnieMinni) only uppercase.
The stamp I used is from Magnolia - Tilda with Heart from the You are so special

****

beetje mijn eigen kaart geworden.

Mijn Copics, Prismacolor potloden
Ik heb van Spellbinders de Shapeabilities - Floral Doily Motifs
mijn Zip'eMate
De stempel is van Magnolia -  Tilda with heart van de You are so special collection

A sentiment for you

A while ago I made digiscrap kits and some word arts of my own.
But now I'm making real paper cards again I think people can use my word arts/ sentiments
for their cards also.
Maybe they are a lit to big, but you only have to make it a little bit smaller.
I hope you'll enjoy my sentiments.
I have a few for you, but I will just start with the one which is downloaded the most.
Click on the preview to download.
I really would like it if you leave a comment on my blog or at the download site.

The word voorbeeld is the dutch word for example so that is not
in the real sentiment.

And then I had a question/suggestion if I can also make this blog into my own language
Netherlands, so from this blog I going to place two languages on this blog.
First the english and after that the dutch version.

*****

gedownload is.

My first Copic Sketch Markers

I just bought my first Copic Sketch Markers. I orderd them at an online store and I received them yesterday but I just wasn't at home.
So today was my big day because I could get them at an local supermarket with an postoffice department.
And I was very happy when I opend the package with the Markers, paper and Memento ink.
The first thing I did was stamping 2 pictures of those beautifull Magnolia stamps. ( I love them).
Because I didn't know how long they had to dry I asked the question on a few sites and toke everything for sure and let them dry very well.
I will let you see my first Markers before I will show my tested pictures I am working on this time.
After the stamped pictures were dry enough I started to use the markers and I
was very nervous, yes it sounds very strange but I was nervous because a
few weeks ago I bought aquamarkers and looked at internet for a few video's in
which people are showing the use of them and that all looked so easy and
I bought them, but finally at home they didn't work as on the video's and
I was very disappointed.
So when I bought the Copics I was very nervous, but it all was very nice to
work with and I love to work with them already.
I started to color my first stamped picture, but when I had done her hat
one of my markers fell on my picture and not on a very nice place.
So I stopped coloring that picture.
And started the second one and I had a feeling that coloring her face
was done better then the first, but I'm no expert ofcourse.
Watch it yourself (click on the picture to see a bigger picture)
But because I don't have other colors to color the whole picture
with copics I got back to the first picture and began experimenting a
little bit with red on her dress, and this is what my picture is looking
right at this moment.
And I just are a little bit proud of myself.
And now I have to save some big money so I can buy slowly
more and more Copics in different colors ofcourse.
But for now I just going to finish the left picture with my
Prismacolor Premier pencils.
When the card I use the picture on is finished I will ofcourse
show it overhere.
